My First Doll is my first animated short running over five minutes, based on my original comic of the same name.

It was selected for the Hong Kong Animation Support Program, which gave me the space to fully develop it, and it eventually received the Gold Award in the startup category.

This is a story about making peace with insecurity. We all carry fragments of childhood — memories that remain hidden beneath the surface, never quite fading. They return in the stillness of night, quietly shaping who we become.

This project marks an important step in how I translate my ideas from comics into moving images, and has made me realise how much I enjoy working in animation.

《我的第一個毛公仔》是我首部超過五分鐘的動畫短片，改編自我創作的同名漫畫。
本作品入選第十二屆香港動畫支援計劃，在支援下，讓我用了約六個月完成，並有幸獲得初創組別金獎。

這是一個關於和自卑心和解的故事，每個人都帶著一些來自童年的碎片——那些埋藏在心底、從未真正消散的記憶，會在夜深人靜時悄然浮現，靜靜地塑造今天的我們。

這個項目對我來說是一個重要的階段，除了讓我開始把漫畫中的想法轉化為動態影像，感受到製作動畫所遇到的各種挑戰，雖然過程不輕鬆，卻讓我更加確定自己對動畫創作的興趣。
