Sketchbook

Cats have been a constant presence throughout my life, providing enduring inspiration and recurring motifs in my illustration work.

I enjoy drawing and often sketch in idle moments, experimenting with diverse styles and color palettes. These explorations frequently result in unexpected interactions, and I appreciate discovering the possibilities they reveal.

I am particularly inspired by kung fu films from 1970s and 1980s Hong Kong, whose grounded and unembellished action sequences possess a uniquely captivating quality.

I am fond of David Sylvian, his music provides an atmosphere that is especially conducive to drawing.

I occasionally take my iPad away from my desk for life sketching. Though I am not accustomed to working outdoors, it often involves capturing fleeting moments intuitively — perhaps that is where its charm lies.
