About the project

Disgusting Delicacies II is the second season of ViuTV’s show of the same name. I had the chance to create the opening sequence, credit roll, and transitions for this popular program. The director gave us a great deal of creative freedom and trust, which made the entire process — from concept to final delivery — both fun and rewarding.

As the title suggests, the show explores unusual and “strange” delicacies from different places, including the United States, Mexico, and Peru. To match the theme, we leaned into a raw, hand-drawn illustration style that felt more spontaneous and slightly rough around the edges, helping capture the quirky and unexpected nature of the featured foods.


We also took the opportunity to exaggerate and stylize the hosts’ appearances, intentionally pushing them in a more playful and slightly unpolished direction. It added to the humor and personality of the visuals — and luckily, we didn’t receive any complaints, which we happily took as a success.
